As part of the Dickson College Formal Committee, I collaborated with a fellow arts student to create the promotional campaign for Farewell Fest 2021, the Year 12 formal. Together, we designed a cohesive and on-theme suite of materials that was described as the best the committee had seen.
The project included a poster, a DL-sized ticket, and a complete social media content schedule with posts published across two student accounts. I led the graphic design and social media content design, while my collaborator refined and enhanced the visuals with her art skills and tools. The result was a familiar, engaging and visually unified campaign that helped build excitement and anticipation in the lead up to the event.
This project taught me the value of effective collaboration, communication and respect for different creative disciplines. It also showed me how combining strengths across design and art can elevate a shared vision into something memorable and impactful.
