I wanted to embody the bright encouragement behind “Carpe Diem” through a semi word inspired pattern, using flowing forms that sit somewhere between flowers and fireworks. The shapes were designed to feel celebratory and uplifting, reflecting movement, momentum and the idea of choosing to act in the present.
This piece was especially meaningful to bring into the physical world. I had it printed at full scale, as well as adapted onto canvas and a T-shirt, which reinforced for me how design can live beyond the screen and become something tangible and experiential.
