Pops for Tots
Performance Poster for the Ginninderra Wind Orchestra
For the Ginninderra Wind Orchestra’s Pops for Tots children’s concert, I designed a playful and nostalgic poster that captures the joy of music from a child’s perspective. Crayon textures, bright colours and imaginative shapes inspired by childhood creativity were used to create a visually captivating design for young audiences and families alike.
This project also encouraged me to explore new promotional avenues. I trialled physical poster placements in local cafes and community libraries, and began building a list of online event databases and community distributors to help broaden the orchestra’s reach. These resources will continue to be developed for future concerts.
The project was a rewarding blend of illustration, community engagement and promotional strategy, and it strengthened my ability to communicate effectively across family-friendly and community-focused events.
